North Myrtle Beach Family Photographer
There is just something about a North Myrtle Beach sunset that makes family photos feel extra special. The soft light, warm sky, ocean breeze, and a little bit of chaos from the kids made the Hupp family's session exactly the kind of beach session we love to photograph.
And these two little guys definitely brought the personality!
The Hupp family joined us for a sunset session right on the beach in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We started among the dunes, where the sea oats, sand fencing, and greenery gave us a beautiful natural backdrop. It was the perfect spot to slow things down for a few traditional family portraits before letting the kids have a little more fun.
Of course, with little ones, "traditional" only lasts so long...and that's a GOOD thing!
A Mix of Posed Portraits and Real Family Moments
One thing we always try to do during our family sessions is give you a little bit of everything. We want those beautiful everyone-looking-at-the-camera portraits, but we also want the moments that show what your family actually feels like right now.
For the Hupps, that meant cuddles in the sand, Mom playing with the baby, sweet sibling photos, plenty of laughs, and one VERY enthusiastic big brother who gave us one of my favorite photos of the entire session.
That wide-eyed, open-mouthed expression with Mom, Dad, and baby brother playing in the background? You simply cannot plan that kind of photo, and honestly, I wouldn't want to. Those are the ones that make a gallery personal.
The Hupp family's North Myrtle Beach session was such a great example of that. Beautiful portraits, gorgeous sunset light, sandy feet, sibling smiles, a little silliness, and plenty of personality. Basically, everything a family beach session should be.
