Which package is best for us?

There are a couple of factors you may want to consider when choosing a package. 1. What is your budget? 2. How many images you would like? 3. How many people are in your group?  If you need help figuring out which is best let us know and we'll help guide you.

 

Where should we have our session?

Where you have your session is totally up to you.  Our sessions usually take place at Myrtle Beach State Park or Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, SC.  But, if you would prefer that we come to you or would like a specific location that can be arranged also.  We will finalize the details of location when booking with us.  We serve all areas along the Grand Strand.  If your location is outside these areas travel fees may apply. 

* Please note that we DO NOT shoot on the beaches within the City of Myrtle Beach, SC.  No commerical activity is allowed on the beaches there* 

 

When should we have our session?

It really just depends on where you would like your session to take place.  In most cases we like to shoot at sunrise or sunset.  This is especially important if you are wanting beach portraits.  These times of day provide the softest most appealing light called the "golden hour".  Most images showcased on our website took place during these particular times.

 

What should we wear to our session?

What to wear to your session is an important topic.  Choosing the right outfits can really change the entire feel of your session.  We would be happy to help if you need any suggestions.

 

We would like to have our session on the beach.  Any tips?

Our biggest suggestion would be to be mindful of the wind.  This is especially important for you ladies.  It can get extremely windy at the beach.  If you decide to wear a dress we would suggest something simple without a bunch of ruffles or layers.  We would also suggest nothing too loose.  If the wind is particularly strong that day it can make your dress wrap around you in unflattering ways. Consider carrying a hat or a hair tie.  That wind can make your hair look all kinds of crazy!  Also, in the summer we suggest bringing water and a towel.  It can get a little sweaty at times.

 

We have a large group with multiple families.  Can we purchase just one package and then split that up into individual sessions?

 

The short answer is no.  But it's really not as simple as that.  If you are looking for an individual family session than you need to book your own session.  If you are a larger extended family with multiple families within your group you are treated as a group when booking with us.  We take into consideration each family involved in the session but we do not guarantee any specific images of a certain family or family member and we can not promise that one family will not have more final images than another.  Again, if you are looking for a more personalized experience with us then we suggest each family booking their very own session.

First off, awwww thank you!  We're excited too! Simply fill out the contact form here.  Just let us know where, when, and how many.  Where would you like your session, when would you like your session, and how many people will be in your group.  You can also call or send us a text at 843.450.7271.  Once we have figured out all the details and have picked the best package for you we can go ahead and get you booked with us.  In order to book we require a non-refundable retainer and a signed contract to hold your date.  Both of which can be done online.  The remainder of your balance is due on the day of your session.

 

Do any prints come with your packages?

No, prints do not come with any of our packages.  You may order prints through us if you wish for an additional cost.

 

So the retainer is not refundable?

The retainer is not refundable unless due to weather or if Neal and I can not make it to the session for reasons within or beyond our control.

 

What happens if it's raining the day of our session?

Having bad weather on the day of your session is the worst!  Neal and I will keep a close eye on the weather throughout the day for you.  We will make a call about rescheduling your session 1-2 hours before our start time.  If rescheduling is not an option for you then your retainer will be returned to you.  Cancelling due to weather is completely at our discretion.  If you cancel and it ends up being nice during your scheduled session time your retainer will not be returned to you.

 

Something's come up and we can't make it to our session.  What do we do now?

What a bummer.  Neal and I completely understand that "life just happens" sometimes.  We allow our clients to reschedule their session with us ONCE at no additional charge.  Unfortunately, we can not guarantee we will be available on the day that you would like to reschedule to.  If we are not available we allow our client's to put their retainers towards a future session with us as long as that session is scheduled within a calender year.
